    There were random single birds all over the lake and surrounding fields. All Canadas. They sit there for awhile, might move a bit but not much through the day. Dozen plus eagles pick them off as they want. Carcasses all over the ice.

    SD passed it a few years ago but our governor and legislature found a way around the will of the people to put it on the ballot again. It did not pass this time. I’m not a fan of mj but this process has made me lose faith in the government. How’d ND turn out?

    December 16. Used waders to break a hole for the boat to get into. Well worth the effort too. Thanksgiving is usually the end though.
