    Did you save any of the meat? I've had cougar backstrap and tenderloin on the grill, basted in butter to medium-rare..delish! I never hear of anyone eating cougar. I think they are really missing out.

    Yes, it's windy. I've seen flying squirrels in my years and travels, but I saw my first flying deer, about 15 feet above the ground, heading due East....along with 2 combines and a JD tractor.(sarc)

    I 2nd Soldotna, Alaska. The area is gorgeous, and within the "good" area of Alaska for htg & fshg. It's close to markets and services for your needs, still out in the sticks. Sterling, AK is also close by & another local to enjoy the 49th state. Central ND is still a great area to call home!

    Having owned an Italian Carano 6.5 mm and researching that guns reviews, I don't think Oswald could hit the car, let alone JFK's head. The shots where from quite a distance, but I don't remember yardage.
