    I've been watching sheets of ice float down the lake on the DOT camera at the New Town bridge. Appears to be opening up a decent amount up there.

    According to Humminbird the Mega+ has 20% more detail and allows for SI/DI in greater depths. I just have the standard Mega imaging.

    You'll want chipper style blades for re-opening holes. The K-Drill does a good job of it.

    DeWalt K-Drill - 3 Season Review

    I've got thousands of holes on my 7.5" K-Drill and Milwaukee M-18 Fuel Drill with the Clam plate. It works good, even in the thick stuff. Just need to swap out batteries before they overheat if you are drilling multiple back to back. For reference though, I'll be going to a Strikemaster 24v head...

    Going to pick up a new 72" Terrova, more cranks, and might add a house/electronics battery to the new boat. Need to finish wiring graphs and a few odds and ends before open water.
