Re-drilling Ice holes

The old jiffy grabs and stops dead and about throws me into the wall 3 or 4 times every hole, It's tough on things, Is there an 8'' blade that works good re-open holes ? Hand powered or electric drill powered would be options too.

You'll want chipper style blades for re-opening holes. The K-Drill does a good job of it.

That crosses my mind almost anytime I come across barely iced over holes and punch them out with my 7.5in K-Drill.

I think I figured it out, telescope the hole. Start with 12 then keep moving down till you hit 6'' and then move the house.
