    Building a Wall Tent

I've been using my clam base camp paddlefishing for a few years now, put blue tarp on ground, fold up cot, sleeping bag, big buddy heater, and a CO meter your set. Learned 2 yrs ago when snow melt came through, not waterproof, so no matter what you use a rainfly is a must!! Best thing setup and...

best bowhunting gloves oct. to early nov.

I prefer to wear jersey gloves through most of the bow season, when it gets colder use them with a muff and when even colder put a pair of handwarmers in them, bow is usually across my lap or hanging within reach when on the stand.

Want to get into bow hunting, but need 32inch draw.

You might also be able to sqeak out another 1/4 to 1/2" by changing your release, espesially wrist strap designs, they make alot nowadays with the head closer to the trigger, to increase draw length. I also agree shooting a bow too long is more detrimental to form and accuracy then shooting a...

    Deer blind foggy windows

I should add that an exhaust fan in conjunction with a vented heater probly not the best route to go either, as fan could could make blind go negative, backdrafting your heater.

    Deer blind foggy windows

Ventilation is what's needed, a vented heater would be best, water vapor is a byproduct of combustion along with co, no matter what route you go would definetly mount a co detector in it.

    Scope on muzzleloaders

To me the illusion of primitive hunting is shot the minute you hop into your new 4 wheeldrive pickup dressed in the lastest superclothing!! Buckskins, bear grease patches, and a lengthy walk to your hunting grounds!!! Muzzleloader season affords me the opportunity to hunt with a"lesser...

    Scope on muzzleloaders

I have been shooting muzzleloaders since the days of goex blackpowder and patched round balls, I dont see any issue with using scopes, my inline with leupold ultimate slam is capable of placing a shot "somewhere" on a piece of notebook paper at 300 yds off a benchrest, most guys would throw a...

    Bow Hunting 101 (For Beginners)

If buying a bow for the first time, I would suggest buying one with a fair draw length adjustment, either in the cam or with modules.New archers tend to tweek thier style the first few years, release style, string loop, no string loop, anchor point, ext.Short armed archers might decide to shoot...
