    According to the Vexilar engineer I spoke with a couple weeks ago..... You will absolutely kill your drill. He says DO NOT USE A DRILL UNLESS IT IS BRUSHLESS!!!! Maybe short bursts of use in 5 inches or less. I had a custom adapter made for my Tanaka powerhead. Still only about 17lbs total.

    New boat ordered and I went with the new Terrova. The jog feature will be great, improved spotlock accuracy, and they improved the stow and deploy so it can be done with 2 fingers. A buddy of mine tested one last fall and was quite impressed.

    Ice reports

    Small lake by Devils.... 4 inches approx 25 feet from shore. 1st 2 feet from shore unstable. Next weekend I will be giving it a try. Drove all around the region and still alot of patchy open water on small lakes with the main lake wide open.

    Casino Fiasco

    Devils Lake Casino Tourney in June isnt perfect; but overall a pretty well run event. The worst decisions seem to surround bad weather and still sending us out. No problems with loading/unloading, rules meeting, or weigh-in.
