    bow steps

I use them on my Yar trailer every day my boat is in use and nearly every time I climb in at home. The EZ steps are a slightly better product IMHO due to adjustable grab pole and more aggressive step pads for the days where your shoes are likely wet. Worth every penny.

    Dad's getting a new boat

I will have a gently used 2017 219 Yar Craft with 350 Verado for sale in a month or so... I think it may be a fishable boat on LOW and the NW Angle. Slightly higher than your dads price range however.

    Keel protection Tuesday wx

I do know the story to this pic. The tall dude is a very good friend of mine and watched it happen. And....that boat was my boat for the last 3 years; was sold by me to the current owner last July. It is a 2014 Yar Craft 209. The current owner pulled up to the dock on the kicker with the...

    Lowrance to Hummingbird

I switched to Birds this year. Next years boat I will rectify the mistake. Screen clarity is great. Mapping is erratic and sonar is sub-par. I am very disappointed.

    NWT Tourney

Sounds like alot of locals planning on fishing it. "Wanna be pros" I guess; but I would consider many of them really good sticks on most any body of water. Personally, I am putting my name on my motor in sparkly puff paint from a craft store and have bought every sticker from every tackle...

    NWT Tourney

Signed up for Garrison. Now I just need my boat to arrive. 11 days on Sak should be fun in May.... Weights on Erie right now not what you would expect. High winds over the weekend turned the lake muddy. Heard some guys put on well over 100 miles just trying to find the right color water...

K Drill on a digger auger rack?

Yes, they work just fine. Actually better than my Nils/Tanaka combo.

Need a new auger. Ion or K-Drill?

I have both. K-Drill. Better blades (durable in all conditions), lighter, and a multi-use drill with cheaper batteries (when need to carry multiple).

    fishing tournies and taxes

Keep all receipts related to tourneys (ie: tackle withing a couple weeks of tourney, gas, lodging, etc). Keep track of all miles related to tourneys (even prefishing days withing about 10 days of tourney). Keep track of total fishing days through the season and separate them out into fun vs...
