I miss being able to drive down to the beach and water on the big lake when I was younger, now its a 2-3 mile walk to the same place I use to drive up to the water.
Why not just stick to water and coffee? Or perhaps i'm not following the direction of this post very well... If you have to drink to have fun then you may not be having as much fun as you think. ;) Just my 2 cents!
Agreed! I eye ball them every time i drive by them. :)
This has been a far more productive thread then i thought it was going to be! Thanks everyone for participating!
I have never fished any of them, but was complaining about no near ice fishing spots and a guy said he ice fishes in a marina north of town and has pretty solid luck. So i don't see why you couldn't if you weren't trespassing to get to them in the first place.
No boat for this guy (sad panda :( ) but i'll post a pic of the family. :)
Oldie, but a good one of us all (minus the baby) - this was about 6 years ago now.
And then there is grandma baby. :)
If i found the right information I think we're talking water-rats! They're fun as long as they don't go climbing all the way out while you're in the ice house. My kids like to toss their snacks at them.
I know you can hike the sand/rocks along the bank as long as i'm not trucking through someones yard, but with my army of kids it makes it a pain in the rear sometimes. Same applies when fishing in town verses heading out of town. I usually only have an hour or so to go out and to make it worth...
Lol
Here we go.
No slot limits, no road hunting, I personally don't keep anything over 5 I'd guess, no pickled anything, medicinal pot, define ice pirate?, not if you won't be offended if I come poop by you.
What about the bridge parking lot itself? That'd be about 20 yards or so.

Couldn't agree more, really sucks for us guys who don't have a boat.
Are you able to park on the Bismarck side and walk down to the water? There is a no trespassing sign but I get the impression its for the road to the water tower thing. I love Bismarck but there is not a lot of fishing access in town.
Hello, new to the forums. My wife and I moved to Bismarck about 6 years ago. I love to fish (when i can get out) and fish from shore. I have 6 kids (5 older ones and a toddler), most of whom love to fish as well. Hope to get to know all you guys a little better.
