    Plastic Shrink Wrap

I spoke to someone in the service department at Moritz, and he recommended that I visit the large dumpsters at the marinas. He said they will be full of the stuff unless they've been dumped recently. Looks like I'll be doing some dumpster diving in the near future.

    Plastic Shrink Wrap

That's what I'm planning on doing. Just wanted to check here first and see if anyone had access to it. I've contacted a few other places that have large amounts of pallet wrapping and plastic, but some weren't willing to save it and wouldn't let me get it out of the garbage.

    Plastic Shrink Wrap

I'm looking for a large amount of plastic shrink wrap to make a few archery targets for my backyard. I figured I'd check here before contacting the local warehouses and boat dealers. Any type of plastic pallet wrap or shrink wrap for winterizing boats will work. If you have access to this stuff...

    Morel Mushroom

I don't think he was asking for any specific spots. Just the type of area that you usually look. What types of trees, soil, etc.? River bottoms, near cottonwoods, ash, oak, etc.? I've got access to a bunch of private river bottom property but would like to learn a little more about the type of...

I got my elk combo. Find it odd that the number of applicants would increase that much in one year. They've had leftovers for the past few years.

    Boots for mountains

I've had good luck with the salomon quest 4d GTX for archery elk and early rifle. Schnees is running a sale right now, so I may pick up a pair of the beartooth or granites to try them out.

    Landscaper - Bismarck

Prairie View does pretty good work. Cashmans is over priced. There are a lot of smaller companies that would gladly provide references too though, and they may save you a few bucks. Best thing to do is call around and get some estimates and ask for references.

I never got that box when I applied yesterday. That's weird.

Ok, gotcha. I guess I always buy mine when I apply. So how does a non-resident go about providing proof of a bowhunter certification or prior year's license? I know I did it over the phone my first year, but I didn't have to do anything last year or this year. Is it just a one-time deal?

There is a permit and a license/stamp. Every bow hunter in MT needs the license/stamp. The permit is issued by drawing only, and that individual must still possess the archery license/stamp while bowhunting.

    Ouch!!

That's why I stay out of grizzly country when I'm out in MT. That, and I only carry one pair of undies with me so I can't afford any of those "oh SH$T" moments!

    Range finder help..

The sig is an awesome rangefinder. I had a vortex 1500 that I sold to buy the sig. I loved the size and reputation of the vortex, but the quality just wasn't there. I had trouble getting ranges beyond 500 yards with the vortex. The sig will get ranges out to 2000+ within seconds. Even on...

    Seeding Large Areas of Grass

It's around 3/4 - 1 acre that will need to be seeded, so I'll need a skidder or tractor for sure.

    Seeding Large Areas of Grass

Thanks for the information! I'll give them a call. Now I just have to work on finding good top soil for a reasonable price. What should I reasonably expect to pay per ton of good black dirt? Under the right circumstances it can be had for free, but those opportunities can be tough to come by.

    Seeding Large Areas of Grass

With spring right around the corner, I need to start getting ready to seed our lawn. I won't have the $$$ to do all the landscaping this year, but I need to get some grass growing so the kid and dog can play outside this summer. Once the top soil is brought in and leveled, what is the best way...
