    MREs for hunting blind?

https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1019652893?pid=276670 I have used OMeals a few different times, once for 5 days and I thought the flavor was really good, only downside is the portions aren't what I would call a full meal. You can use any liquid as the catalyst for heating as the food is in a...

How many men still know how to butcher???

We do all of our own, grew up doing pretty much every domestic we had; chickens, turkey, hogs, beef, lamb plus everything we hunted we had to eat so learned to process all those as well. Just built a walk in cooler so that butchering, sausage making, etc. doesn't have to be a fall/winter only...

    Mice…

This right here, you have to find how they are getting in and plug that up or it will just get worse. It takes a very small hole for them to get in, we had the same problem and I over looked a small hole thinking it was to small for them to get through, put flower out to see where they were...

    Inline Muzzleloader?

I purchased a Traditions Vortex StrikerFire two years ago and really like it, I bought it mainly for the safety of de-cocking it and has been a very accurate rifle.

    The Migration is ON!

I'm up by Bottineau and we have been shooting cranes since opener, there is probably more cranes here this year than the past couple. I am very surprised with the number of Specks here also.

    M10 Cow Moose

Depends where you live but I would focus around the Sherwood area. I will reach out to a rancher friend and see what they have been seeing, but I know the area has quite a few moose.

    Another great bear season

Either cut it into small cubes or grind it, then I use a roaster (crockpot works too) and cook it "really" slow so that the oil separates out. You want to take it easy so that you don't burn it. Then I ladle off the oil and pour it in jars through cheesecloth. It works good on healing cuts...

    Another great bear season

We had another great Minnesota bear hunt this year, after my daughter's big one last year we had something to shoot for, we didn't top hers but had a blast. We always hunt over baits but once in a while when traveling between baits checking them you see the odd bear, that's how I got mine this...

    Any rock hounds ?

Not sure if this is anything or not but found it years ago and for some reason I poured something on it. But it looks like a bear and a bird have been carved into it. It is about silver dollar size and a flat base.

    2021 deer draw

Crazy year for us as well, wife drew a whitetail buck (4 points), sister-in-law (5 points), nephew (8 points), daughter (5 points) and myself (6 points) all drew mule deer buck for the same unit. Now to decide if I use 8 antelope points or just get another point?

    Any rock hounds ?

They are a very dark red when you polish them. I have talked to a couple people in Bismarck that cut gems and they both told me that the saws used to cut harder gems get to hot to be used on garnet. There is a place out east that was recommended but I hate to ship them anywhere? I will get...

    Any rock hounds ?

Took me long enough but here is a picture of the Garnets we have found in the Turtle Mtns. Had them checked and they are gem quality. Trying to find someone to cut them, wife wants to try and make a piece of jewelry out of the bigger ones. Pencil eraser for reference.
