    Here's what I use. My '06 XLT doesn't have the center console so it works great. Easy in and out and well secured. I flipped the rack over and have the cradles on the bottom(towards the seats), the way the picture shows just didn't make sense to me. Works for my AR, deer rifles and shotguns...

    I've had Justin's and Tony Lamas and really liked both. Current pair are Dan Post and really like them. The Ariat's just don't seem to fit my feet worth a darn for what ever reason but they do make a good boot as well.

    Rock River, Stag Arms and Black Rain Ordinance all offer left hand models, all good quality guns to. Have you ever fired an AR? Maybe a little experimenting would help. I'm not left handed myself but if you could track someone down that is maybe you could try one out.

    Going to try this for supper tonight! It will have to be walleye as I don't have any Crappie in the freezer, oddly enough they never make it to the freezer in my house. Will also be whipping up some tartar sauce to go with them.
