    Enjoy the new toy. I bought a masterbuilt this fall and have really enjoyed trying new things. As far a jerky goes I set the temp the same as I do on my dehydrator (160°). Its really easy to over smoke. i agree with MM and just smoke for an hour.

    I was able to track a Predator 4255 down at Bass Pro, and it was on sale. Takes two weeks to get here but cabela's could no longer even order one so this was the only option if i wanted it this winter.

    A good friend of mine has one. I can't attest to the battery life being i've only drilled a handful of holes with it but my god does it cut a hole in no time. This was feb/march when we had a good amount of ice last year.

    Same here. I have a .40 in the 3.8". Fun to shoot. No complaints other than i wish i would've gotten night sights. Next one will either be a kimber or some type of revolver.
