I’m going try try and learn how to use snap weights for short line trolling. Also my plan is to try are focus on catching the bigger fish in the system instead of chasing eaters all summer. Targeting crappies is also on my hit list
We pay $4-5 a dozen down in WY. Some places even count them out. The minnows good statewide are AIS free certified farmed fatheads from Arkansas. Creek chubs abs suckers are pretty plentiful so a guy just needs a seining license
Well all the cheap boats don’t seem to hitting the market so people must be planning to keep them and use them. Even decent boats in the 20-40k range is a tight market.
Mine looks about the same! Lots of corrosion and the bearing was locked up pretty bad. Going to need a wholesale cleaning and replacement parts. Had to buy a bearing puller to get it off. Hoping I put it all together right and that it seals back up. Lower end kit was only $37 so not too bad.
How many of you have taken apart the lower end of a minnkota trolling motor to repair the brushes or bearings? My motor is running pretty loud and it sounds like a bearing is going out. Seems simple enough to repair it myself. Has anyone done it before?
You can mark a waypoint without standing there so hardly proof they trespassed. I’m glad groups like BHA are paying to fight this injustice! Don’t agree with everything BHA does but this is probably their most important work for people who hunt out west.
Just looked at the list and a huge majority are 40k and up, not many people can pay cash for those and I’m sure the finance rate is why so many boats are sitting. Not many boats around the $10-30k range
8% interest is unreal for something that is a want and not a need. And you are stuck with it for years until you have it paid down to what you owe. I was skeptical at 3% interest and 20% cheaper prices!
No income tax, cheaper property tax, housing is now probably a little more expensive to the same price. The state spends less and therefore less taxes needed.Better big game hunting and still good walleye fishing. ND could learn a thing or two!
