    My reels are small enough that 150 yards fills them up perfect with 30 size reels and 10# power pro. Instead of respooling I just pull out the worn line and cut it off. 150 yards lasts me awhile.

    So is the Stratos on the same level as Triton, Nitro, Larsen and skeeter when comparing fiberglass? I’m assuming Ranger, Warrior, Lund gl, and Yarcraft are the top tier. For a ten year old used boat could a guy even go back to the manufacturer if problems developed?

    It sure why they care about the recreational fishermen keeping one big fish when they allowed the betters to harvest all of the trophy fish with no limit! If I travel all the way there I want a good chance at a 10 lb plus fish. And now if you catch a teener it has to go back, lame!

    The only time I’ve gotten wind knots was when I had the spool overfilled. Both power pro and suffix 832

    Honestly power pro and suffix 832 are the best casting lines I have used. They are round and don’t dig in the spool on snags. As long as you don’t overfill the spool you shouldn’t have any problems.

    The most expensive rods I own are probably not the ones I paid the most for. I have a Quantum super lite rod that retailed for $200 that I paid $50. Great light and sensitive rod that I put through a ton of abuse. Also have a loomis bronzeback rod that I don’t use much unless I’m tossing jigs...

    Anyone have any experience with Stratos boats? Wondering if they are a decent fiberglass boat with any known issues. I know they are not a Ranger or warrior but how do they ride in comparison to aluminum boats. Looking at some 1760 and 18’ models.
