    Blades need to be sharp and dirt 8s there enemy. I have learned to carry an extra set of blades ando a wrench. Wish they would come out with a chipper blade.

    Just had my mitts blow out at the seam this weekend and had a pair of gloves let go on Winnipeg last year. Some of the warmest gloves I have, but the quality of the stitching is poor. Hope Scheels will warranty the mitts like they did the gloves. Wish quality was as good as the warranty.

    000 steel wool saturated with hopes no. 9 and scrub away. has saved a few old guns for me. if terribly bad then have a gunsmith rescue it. I had my first shotgun redone, ithica model 37, and never looked back.

    Good pair of goggles needed

    Go on amazon and get some answer goggles, they won't break the bank and are of good quality. Make sure you get double lenses for winter as it helps eliminate fogging. Spend a little more and look for some with a nose cover. lots of options out there. not a fan of spending big money on goggles.

    Help with Auger Choice

    I'm keeping my old jiffy for thicker ice and picked up a ion fore the wheel house and early and late ice. That jiffy owes me nothing and you can't find anything better built then it. Impressed with the ion and weight.
