Dead Minnows

I want minnows like I got on Lake Winnipeg, them things bounced around in my sled for 4 days and not one casualty! Would have to add water dandy near everythromycin stop as it would be dang near empty. And the size was perfect!

Grandfather in law in AL had a catfish pond (3 acre or so) which summer killed; leaving behind a robust population of stunted green sunfish when the pond went normal (like you could walk across their backs).

I was in the NCO academy down there at the time and had a mission for my weekends. I swaged a number of thirty "eater" LM would be "right"; from his son's pond who didn't give a shi'ite either way. They were all kept in a basket and later transported with aerated pond water in large trash cans. On the last trip, Grandad got impatient with the trashcan filling. He wanted to finish from his son's hose which he believed was from a well... No. Or maybe considering the remoteness of the farm. I went along. Wells can be treated and kill fish quickly. We had a fish fry that night.

PS: Returned two years later: The best catch (by the boy) was 3lb. Returned two years after that and the pond was filled with stunted LM. The source was devoid of bass. I managed to get a 5lb and nothing else. Now THIS pond was full of bream. Grandad had passed and the boy and I spent two days switching bass and bream on a fifteen mile round trip. I don't know how it's turned out.

Don't get a divorce.

i agree with too many minnows = suffocation theory.
