    Berkley Slow Death Hooks

Handy dandy crank tuning tools are worth it for the Reefrunners. Pliers sucked.. once tuned, they are kinda really good. is this a slow death hook thread or cranks thread? But it was fun. Hijack over

Sakakawea AIM 1 Week to Go

I would rather live or die by my own fishing decisions than have someone sell me spots. Updated: maybe I am out of touch with what's going on these days.

    Garmin may be in trouble

Good for Garmin. We need more than two majors in freshwater technology... it'll keep us from getting ripped off. plus they are providing US jobs

    Dad's getting a new boat

Yeah I think we all know who owns them. From what I see Rangers still does their own stuff, and no quality control issues with newer models from what I hear

    Dad's getting a new boat

Ditto. I've called Ranger a few times for miscellaneous things. Ordered a seat, dash piece I cracked, etc. When you give them your serial number they know everything about that boat in the exact color match for any part. Those guys definitely take pride in their boats

Interesting. I had never heard of one of those before. Even though it is not, it Looks a bit like the ugly camel spiders from the Middle East desert.

    Favorite walleye plastics?

Never for me. If I am using a minnow on a jig it is on a plain jig..no plastics, more of a vertical thing. Your plastic is imparting the action by what you are doing on your retrieve. Most do well on a slow steady retrieve. Throw a few pauses in there and you should be good . If you want scent...

    Favorite walleye plastics?

White or chartreuse 3" twister tails. 3" mimic minnow. Damn those things are good. Something a little more off of the wall that has caught a lot of walleyes this spring is 1/16oz Beatle spins with the solid plastic do-nothin body and gold blade. Throw em along weed-lines. Flutter it in thier face.
