    Garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a couple of possibilities. 1. Did you get a frost when the tree was flowering? That will for sure clobber your harvest, but 4 years in a row seems unlikely. 2. As mentioned above, fruit trees of all kinds really benefit from aggressive pruning. Yeah, it sucks to have to put in the...

    Oahe report Mobridge

I would imagine this is also killing the small white bass. The walleyes and pike are likely taking great advantage of this. Not unlike when there are large smelt die-offs on Sakakawea. It tends to make fishing difficult.

    Federal hypocrites

johnr, It is no secret that the military, in the name of national defence, is widely exempt from nearly all environmental regulations that the rest of us have to follow. This is non-news, and has been since around 1776. That doesn't mean the military can go willy-nilly contaminating the...

    Federal hypocrites

Write your congressional representatives if you want to restrict the military to lower dependability, off-the-shelf technology. While you're at it, you can also propose they only be allowed weaponry available to private citizens. You know, only semi-automatic or bolt action rifles, no rockets...

Price of land just keeps going

Maybe not quite... Don't get me wrong, a trillion dollars is an awful lot of money. But maybe not the best measure of distance.

Yikes! Up to $2k for that trp. They look pretty sweet, but that's twice what I paid for my Kimber.

    Anyone grow honeyberries?

That Red River clay seems to suit those berries very well. Mine don't get nearly that large.

On an online auction, one should be able to bid with the expectation of being able to have shipped to an approved gun dealer.

    Bis to lose boat ramp

FWIW, I don't get to decide if the project is a "done deal". I'm just saying that if it is, then there needs to be a replacement ramp. And no, an expansion of Fox Island isn't adding a new ramp in my world. The Mandan ramp is new, but is not a replacement ramp for the Grant Marsh ramp IMHO.

    Bis to lose boat ramp

Where has anyone said anything about new taxes to fund a replacement ramp? And by the way, you seem to have glossed over the parts where I've said I am not in favor of the redevelopment. I am only in favor of not losing public boat ramps that have already been bought and paid for by tax money...

    Bis to lose boat ramp

Only you can equate wanting public boat ramps and being a lefty. I suppose you would be ok with a conservative being allowed to install a private boat ramp on public property where they'd charge you $20 every time you launched your boat. Is that your idea of being fiscally conservative?

    Bis to lose boat ramp

    1. I am pretty sure I have not supported the upcoming riverfront development in any way, shape, or form. 2. However, in the light of this seeming to be a "done deal", I support efforts to replace what is easily one of the top two public ramps in the area.

    Bis to lose boat ramp

It's kind of ironic that website like NoDakAngler appears to have members against the replacement of a boat ramp that is apparently destined to history.

    Bis to lose boat ramp

Short answer is...most of it gets wet with current topography. In reality, it would all depend on how much money they would eventually want to spend to protect it to XX feet. One could haul enough fill down there to protect the expensive stuff to 30 ft (pick a stage) if desired.
