    Snap weights also work great for dropping cranks down into the hit zone. A 2 oz. snap weight will get a #7 Flicker Minnow down to 30 fow.

    Got on the east end yesterday after the rain stopped...like 0930. Put in at Stevenson - ran west to Douglas Bay area. Jigged for an hour in 20 to 25 fow using plastics. Caught 3...1 keeper. Moved over to flats next to 5 Fingers - started pulling spinners with artificials. Again, fish in 20 to 25...

    Sluggo - I fished the same area Friday, ran down to Douglas Bay area. Caught a few by Camp of the Cross then ran over to 5 Fingers. Spinners with artificials worked best. Ended up catching 7 or 8...3 nice keepers. Not a bad morning on the water!

    ^^Been driving Fords a long time Tik - but I honestly considered a Silverado with the 6.2L before I bought this one in 2021. The 5.0 motor has been bullet proof in the last F150 and this one so far!

    I use both fluoro and mono leader with the PP braid. Haven't really noticed more fish on one set up vs. the other? I do believe as was stated above, mono drops little slower - so depending on presentation/method...mono might be better option for leader.
