    2021 F150 Tow Mirrors

Ok gents, I've been doing research on the best aftermarket tow mirrors to put on my F150. Mine came with the standard mirrors...which aren't great IMO. Here is what I've found: - 2020 and earlier F150s have many options for aftermarket tow mirrors, but for some reason, with the small change Ford...

Sak Mother’s Day Walleye & Bass

Hey Guy - I fished Audubon last Monday and Friday. Water temps were much warmer Monday...54 to 58. Friday temps had fallen to 49 to 52. Fishing was very slow, caught one nice 20 inch Friday - otherwise all pike. Hopefully with warmer stable temps this week, the bite will pick up!

Sak Mother’s Day Walleye & Bass

Got out on Audubon this morning about 9...fished until 2. Found water temps anywhere from 54 to 58 depending on the bay I was in. Only got pike to bite, but was nice just to shake off the rust. Hopefully the eyeballs will turn on this weekend! Good fishing gents...open water finally here!

    Fishing Plan This Year

Picked up a new graph for the console - HDS Live...so gotta get that installed this weekend. This winter watched quite a few vids on jigging even trolling with hair jigs. I have a few in the jig box, but rarely have used them - want to see if I can't figure them out some - especially early in...

    Tennis elbow and fishing

Unfortunately V time is the best healer...in my experience. 5 or 6 years ago got it bad from playing racquetball...ice and time only thing that worked for me. Now 6 years later have zero issues with the elbow...go to the gym 6 days a week...no problems. Good luck man! Like Allen said...less...

    Trolling motor batteries

^^ 27 series dual purpose for the crank/console electronics is what I run...no issues in 2 seasons with that setup. Some days on the water 8-10 hours, but I suppose I do fire up the big motor and run around quite a bit.

    Trolling motor batteries

Two years ago I bought two Duracell 31 series wet cells for trolling/have a Motorguide Xi5, those batts have been awesome. As mentioned above, Sam's Club carries them - good prices usually.

    Mega360 or Mega Live

Old school here I guess...don't believe I will purchase any of the "live" sonar options at this time. Good mapping, 2D sonar, side and down imaging...good enough for me. I fish for fun - not to pay the bills!

    Open water. Are you ready?

Temps beginning this weekend finally turning the corner...it seems! As much snow as we have, gonna be several weeks before I can get the boat out of storage. I am putting new graph on the console this year, other than that just the usual boat season prep stuff.

    Losing my best friend.

So sorry Aaron - our dogs truly are just like our children. The unconditional love, loyalty, and friendship they give us make them so damn special. Hope and pray she is in no pain and can enjoy you and your family for however much longer she has left with you. God bless man...thoughts and prayers.

    Your Most Expensive Fishing Rod

Couple years ago found a St. Croix jigging rod on sale at the Runnings in Dickinson...like $99. Put a nice Abu Garcia reel on it...favorite rod by far!

    Lowrance question

I've got a 9 inch on the console and a 7 inch on the bow, which reads only regular 2D sonar from the head unit in the trolling motor. The 7 inch on the bow just set to regular sonar works fine for that purpose - but I never split the screen. IMO 9 inch minimum needed for split screen to really...
