    Is that with SI? I would buy that today if it was under a grand. Cheapest I've seen is $1199. I'm sold on Mega at the moment. I have an 859 DI, that has worked well for me and will move that to the bow with the trolling motor transducer. A good guy to ask about mega is Captain Brad.

    Good for you. It's not that people hate high end fiberglass boats, it's that people hate dickheads. 9 times out of 10 the dickhead is in a Ranger, Idk why. Other boats are just as sparkly and just as expensive, but it's usually the Ranger guy that's a jerk.

    All New Mercury 4-Strokes - Just released

    It seems like all of the pro motocross guys have 4 strokes now. So I think there must be some advantage. Could be the powerband of a 4 works better for them, rather than just raw horsepower. Just like car engines, I think a lot of the gadgets new motors have on them is just to make more money...

    I think the way to do it is to keep a fishing log and then enter the weather information for the day. That way you can (hopefully) see correlations between conditions and how the fishing was. Not my idea, this is something Captain Brad talked about at his catfish seminar last year.
