    Caliper vs Hook Style Release

Go to a handheld and don't look back. ::: I used to shoot a Scott Rhino before I made the switch to a handheld. Loved it. Was nice to not have look down when trying to connect to the D loop. Like others have mentioned, I felt it had a cleaner break. I made the switch to hand held a few...

Appendix decided to put a kibosh on my hunting and fishing

Glad you are doing well! I had my back surgery 3 years ago on Nov 14th. So much for the rut that year.

    Buy a Silencer

My paperwork was submitted at the end of Oct 2016 and I still have yet to receive. I heard the ATF now has more staff processing applications, not sure if this is fact or fiction so maybe someone else can provide input, but if it is a fact, the wait times could come down a bit.

    Going under the knife again.

Yeah, but I don't go all the time, just when something is really out of place. When I can't stand up straight, I know it's time for some help. Also have a really good massage therapist, that has broke up the scar tissue and am finally getting some mobility back. Like you, I quit playing...

    Going under the knife again.

Yuk. Had my first back surgery 3 years ago at the age of 31. My first year after surgery was pretty good, but been downhill ever since. Can't even get my socks on some days. For me, I did find a therapist that has helped and have made huge improvements in the last two months. I also have...

    Pronghorn Results

Happened to my Dad last year. Finally drew a deer tag and due to health reasons couldn't hunt. If you cannot hunt, get a dr note and take to GF. You can turn your tag(s) back in and keep your preference points. You don't gain any points, but you don't lose what you had. Basically, it's like...

    Mayweather- McGregor? What say you?

He won't do that. It's in the contract. He pulls any UFC moves and he looses millions and this whole fight is about the money and nothing else. I would love to see Mcgregor win by KO, just to prove that boxing is on the way out, but it won't happen. Mayweather should pretty much have his...

    CHS hazing

Not sue why this would be trending as this article was 15 years ago. I was at CHS at the time it happened. Hazing was not uncommon. However, hazing and sexual assault are two different things. Imagine if that was a girl in the back of the bus made to strip down naked below the waste and...

    Single Bevel?

Dr. Ed Ashby. Google him. All you need to know. I tried the DRT single bevel last year and certainly have no complaints. I shoot 72lbs at 27" and a 496 grain arrow. Haven't had to take a shot with them longer than 30 yards, but I have no complaints on accuracy. Like most fixed blades...

    Ulterra Owners???

I have the gen 1 and it's not bad. I wish the foot pedal had a little better control. I find it difficult to make small adjustments with it. The spots lock, especially in current or wind is garbage. You drift off your spot, then it speeds up fast, over shoots the spot, then turns back around...

    Bee Stinger Stabilizer

Agree with KDM. I run and 8" on one set up and a 10" on the other. Try to find the weight/length combo that balances your bow. My 8" has more weight at the end than my 10" does and I notice the difference. Get one of each? You can have a shorter one for the tree stand and short shots, while...

    suspended walleyes on Sak

Yes, I have tried it and yes with success. It is a very, very difficult bite IMO. You need to look for bait fish, big schools of them. Sometimes you will see a mark indicating a bigger fish, but most of the time you don't. Your best bet that walleyes are feeding on the baitfish are gaps in...

How many of you would still bowhunt if you could not bait?

Tough for me to bait. Most of the year I share the field with cows, and they will usually eat it up before the deer even find it. However, I would still hunt if it's illegal. Most of my deer shot with a bow have come from placing stand/blinds in ambush spots on trails or during the rut.
