    Sak East End/Audubon

I was in Garrison bay yesterday for about 4 hours. Water temps were 52 in back bays to start the day and closer to 56-57* at the end of the day. Got off water around 1:30. Never caught a walleye. 1 carp and 1 goldeye. Tried jigs/minnows, cranks, live bait. Fished all sorts of different...

    More AR Stuff

Well thanks for all the input, decided to get my adult lego in an 18" and put a 4x trijicon w/ red chev on top. Can't wait to get to the range and break the barrel in and shoot a few rounds. Still haven't figured out the accessories yet.

The 16" is a mid length gas while the 18 is a rifle length gas. Both rifles are 1-7 twist, which please correct me if I'm wrong should be good for the 55grain and up I plan to shoot through it?

I don't think he has a website, but I do have a business card of his. I'll see if I can find it over my lunch hour.

    Knife birthday gist ideas/help please

If you want a truly good knife and to have it custom, call Dennis Fitter at DDGF cutlery. He works out of his home ( I believe in Mandan), but makes all of his knives by hand. He will also engrave anything you want and make a custom sheath. He has all sorts of blade lengths, shapes etc...

For you AR guys. I am having a hard time deciding on a barrel length. Looking at a 16 and 18" AR15. Will be putting an acog with BDC on it and plan to mostly use it for 200 yards and in. Shoot some yotes, maybe some prairie dogs and as a plinking gun. What are the pro's/con's? What would...

How does this co-angler stuff work. So you fish with a different pro each day and the fish you and your pro catch count toward the amateur total? So you could fish with a pro on a hot big fish bite day 1, then switch to some one who doesn't have it figured out and not cash a check?

Looking at some of these weights, it's making me thing the gov cup this year could have some really big bags. I know its a different part of the lake and different time of year, but someone will find the big girls. Same for the DWC and I would say the casino tournament if anyone fishing is. haha

    2017 Deer Gun Season

If you look at this years proclamation you can see the # of tags for each unit.

    What would you recommend?

I agree with some previous statements. If you keep your eye out, there are some really good used boats in that 2007-20012 range under 35k. I have even seen some good ones under 25k. You can really save some money by finding a boat that doesn't have the really high end electronics.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it get close to 40lbs total weight.

Any idea when deer applications will be available?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I suggest we move this to the " All Ha Ha's" thread. Your comment about a drawing in August made me laugh. I can't imagine it would be that early! :::

    Gun Value

No, but I do know of a good chiropractor that can put things back into place and paint you a few fishing lures.

    Gun Value

That's about what I was thinking. I did see one sight that suggested around $1200 for the same model except with a 32" barrel. Mine is in excellent condition. Looks damn near brand new. Bought it 20 years ago, shot it a couple times and has been in a gun case ever since.

    Gun Value

I wouldn't say it is rare, built in the early 90's I believe. Just thinking of selling it, so trying to get an idea of what the market is for it. - - - Updated - - - Since inquiring minds want to know, it's a Remington SP-10 Magnum, 26" barrel. Shoots 3-1/2, 10ga loads.

    Gun Value

I am trying to determine the value of a shot gun that I have. I have searched the internet and it seems like if you want the value of your firearm you have to buy a subscription to the website, as least the ones I have looked at. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to look to get...
