    Bismarck high water.

Only an idiot who hasn't done their homework would legitimately try to blow up ice.

    Bismarck high water.

This is correct from what I have also heard. We had a democratic delegation in Congress at the time. One of them sat on a very important committee to the Corps from what I understand.

Well, ice can really suck at times: https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=bis&gage=biwn8 No significant impacts yet, but this story isn't over by any stretch of the imagination.

    Boating Access of the Future?

Heck, I haven't even tried to read the MN fishing regulations in many years. Their fishing proclamation is worse than an encyclopedia. And I've probably fished less than 6 times total in MN, even though I spent 9 years in Grand Forks.

    Snowpocalypse

LOL, ain't that the truth. I had a seasoned meteorologist tell me years ago that if we lived on days 7-10 of the GFS, Earth would be uninhabitable. There's some wisdom in his observations.

    Snowpocalypse

Granted, I just took a look at the longer term GFS model and it's pretty optimistic now going out to mid-March.

    Snowpocalypse

If you overlay the respective watersheds on that GFS depiction of expected snow, most of what Montana receives will fall outside of the Missouri and Yellowstone watersheds. 2-4 inches on the plains of MT and ND will be hardly a blip on the Missouri River and the respective reservoirs. Then...

    Open water watch 2024

Nelson Lake would be available for long rods. As would the Missouri River from roughly Cross Ranch up to the Tailrace. This latter one is based on a tour of the river I did on Wed.

    Ground up restoration

Yeah, well...the engine is only capable of moving the vehicle if it can retain all 4 wheels. A buddy had the lugs snap off of his Dodge a couple summers ago coming back from Sturgis. Note, he's a mechanic and is anal about torquing his lug nuts to the proper specs. There are all kinds of...

    Ground up restoration

Not 100% sure, probably in the 2012-2014 range. Whenever we go fishing, I almost always insist on driving since Dodges have put more miles on my boots than any other vehicle manufacturer even though I've never owned one.

But yes, if you want a higher comfort package (Lariat, or better), you are probably looking at $100k. I seriously thought about going to AZ to pick up a new truck. The pricing at some of the bigger, mostly commercial fleet dealerships, was notably better than that up here on the plains.
