    Backstrap Appetizers

    Just used my fried fish recipe on some deer backstrap, turned out great. Cut the strap into bite size pieces. Shook em up in a zip lock of flour. Run thru egg bath, then into a zip lock of crushed up garlic Ritz crackers. Pan fried up.....damned good!!

    Brother in law made a bunch of this out of Crane. Damned good. I haven't done this yet, but he said to try some brown sugar with a little cinnamon on it then bake it for a while.

    You have a picture of the Crappie with the ragged tail? Does it look bad? I've heard that's the true trophy when they're old and ragtailed/wore down????? I've never seen one.
