    Not sure why you would do that unless directions say to do it? Seems to be a wasted charging cycle and time on the trolling motor. I would assume the discharge rate will be different with your Rv uses versus the TM?

    Like I said I have both. It cost me 25 or 30 dollars a few years ago to ship one back to St. Croix. A 150 dollar rod just became 180. That's 20% more and waited around 10 days to get it.
