    One Rod, Double Walleye

That's awesome!! I had something similar happen this spring. Pulling cranks on the river, got a bite. As the fish gets close to the boat, I realize I have two fish hooked on the same lure. One hooked on the back hook, the other on the front. Unfortunately one of them popped off as we were...

    Nodak Arms

Does anyone have experience with them? Are they a quality firearm? I'm looking at adding an AR to the arsenal. I haven't made up my mind on caliber and the options I want, but came across their website and wondered if they made good stuff. Thanks in advance.

    Fishing Weed Beds???

I find a 1/4 oz works in most situations say 5-8'. If I need to get deeper than that I would try a 3/8 or maybe even 5/16oz. If all you need is 1-3' of depth a couple small split shots does the trick. Also remember spinner blade size matters. Larger blades run higher in the water column.

    Fishing Weed Beds???

I try to pitch jigs, or plastic jerk baits and swim the tops or edges of them. Another good trick is to pull a spinner right across the top of them. For this I use a bullet sinker instead of a bottom bouncer. The deeper I need to get, the larger the bullet sinker.

No kidding! We are driving up Friday morning to fish. I can't remember which spot we are in, I think 25, but don't quote me. I'll have to come find you and have a beer.

DM, Did you try spinners or slow death? I'm hoping we can find some fish, but haven't been there all year. I know the sunken island to the west usually produces some numbers for us.

    ND Game & Fish

I still believe instead of harping on the GF for not getting a tag, people should be harping on the land owners for removing habitat. I'm not farmer, and I'm sure they have their reasons. Not blaming them one bit. I'm fine with the system the way it is. Seems to me nobody really had an issue...

    Who's ready for ice fishing?

What is wrong with people? My fav time of the year is bow hunting Nov, and I love to ice fish, but I'll hang on to the hot weather with long daylight as long as we can. Our summers are short enough. Need to stock the freezer full of walleye before winter.

    No Wounded Game Initiative

I've already been to the range twice this week, around 100 arrows each time. Been going at least once a week for a month. Starting to ramp it up. Also preparing for the 3d shoots in Bismarck next month.

    battery powered electric filet knives

I think it would no problem. They say it lasts for 80 minutes and I can't imagine it would take that long to clean 30 fish. But I do know after 15 fish, and that is all parts of cleaning, I don't notice any reduction in power.

    battery powered electric filet knives

I have had it a couple months now, and I can breeze through 10-15 fish no problem. I just recharge it after every use. Blades work well too.

    Governors Cup 2016

That weather was brutal. We found a couple really nice fish the last hr of day 1 and were excited to try and make a move into the money on day 2. We had 8.15 pounds on 3 fish at the end of day one. Caught 5, 17" fish in the first hour on day two, but between the tornado reported in Douglas...

    keeping fish alive in summer?

I never trust the circulate feature on the boat. I always refresh the water when I think they need it. If you are pulling fish up from deep water, that does have an effect on them.
