    Base layers

Marino wool!!! Wicks away moisture, and keeps you warm. Not familiar with the Cabela's thermal zone, but anything with marino wool is something to give a serious consideration.

    Spotting Scope recomendations

Camofire currently has two Vortex spotting scopes up for sale. If you are in the market, might be good to check them out. Only on sale for another 30 minutes I think.

    Broadhead tuning

I think DM should have played hockey! Seems like he can get things passed the goalie.

    Broadhead tuning

UPDATE: So I double checked everything this weekend. Shot the single bevel, the exodus, and my field tips. Made some mirco adjustments to the arrow rest etc. The exodus was 2-3" left at 20 yards before I adjusted the rest. This is when I made the micro adjustments to the rest and...

    Broadhead tuning

Punches a perfect hole in paper. It has me scratching my head. I am going to have to find some time this weekend to get it figured out. Going to try walk back tuning and shoot other broad heads to see if it's the bow, broad head or shooter(most likely cause).

For you archery guru's out there. I decided to try a different fixed blade this year. It's the DRT single bevel. It's a two blade with two bleeder blades. I've never had much of an issue with planning, but last night shot it at 20 yards and holy crap. Planning 3-4" left every time. I tried...

    ND tied 31st in gun/resident

Key part being "registered guns". How many of us have guns that aren't registered? Bought at gun shows, handed down from our fathers/grandfathers, etc? I think if they actually did a survey for how many guns are in this state, those leftists would put ND at the top of the list for gun...

    Archery Opener

The hard part will be the decision. Do I chase after a velvet buck, try to fill a doe reduction tag, or get some more walleye for the freezer?

    Portable Breath Alcohol Tester

If any of you are familiar with the show "Shark Tank", I believe there was one on that show that got a deal. Hooks up to your mobile device. I've heard it's pretty accurate. I'm not sure the name brand of it, but I'm sure if you googled the show a person could find which one it is.

    This Weekend - Weather A+...Maybe!?

Thanks for the Jinx on Saturday!!! Tried it anyway. Fishing was brutally slow. Only managed two keeper eyes. At the cleaning table, didn't see anyone with more than 3, except for the couple cleaning 9 salmon. One looked to be 14-15lbs and most of their 9 were probably 7-10 lbs.

Lake Sakakawea - Local nickname locations of fishing spots???

Ahh, the good old days. Pepsi sign is still there, but no more goats or beacon. One of my best memories was spring fishing by goat island. 1/2oz jigs, 50 FOW, catching saugers like they were going out of style.

Looks like you have been fishing around Indian Hills. Don't forget the "Pump House"

    One Rod, Double Walleye

This is extremely common with Smallmouth. In fact for me, it happens more times than not. If fishing with two people in the boat, as soon as one hooks up, the other should cast in that direction, will probably have a double.
