    I did have problems with my last Yamaha. I had a starter with dead spots in it. Left me on the shore once and left me out on the water a couple times. I'm kinda excited about trying a Mercury. A 5 year warranty on this motor is nice to have as well.

    The Bravos have a lot of slip on the walleye boats. Not sure about the bass boats but they do carry extra weight well.     If you see problems getting the 300 to shoot a group we'll, I would try switching to 180's. the 30 caliber guns shooting at really high velocities may require a heavier bullet. Actually a heavier bullet is longer as well. This it what you are really after with the added weight in a 30 caliber...

    As long as they have some sort of warranty and you are able to use them through out the warranty period you should be ok. Electronics either work or they don't. If you can save some money and they aren't physically beat up
