    I'm with Sub Elect, I've got different boots for all different applications. Danner Mountain Hunters in 11" and 7" and Cabelas Elk Hunters which are basically worn out. I don't think either are made anymore. The Danner's get their last elk hunt this year.

    Mine does the same. It is worse with Ethanol, and way worse when the water pump was going out (was running a little warm at times). It is back to doing it again after new plugs, but only occasionally and never at a predictable time. I'm gonna run it til the wheels fall off so no big deal.

    You would have no problem paying $50 and I agree, I wouldn't either. I do remember when tags were $19 and there was discussion about raising slightly the cost. With the backlash that followed you would have thought GNF was taking first born children.

    I would agree with this, as long as the rest of the states disallow anyone from North Dakota to hunt their state. How much crying do you think would occur when the residents tag prices have to increase to make up for the money previously received from non-residents?

    What broadheads will you be using this season?

    I started using Montec G5's when they came out. Used Muzzy's up until then. The G 5's just group a little nicer at distance. When I have my bows tuned I can keep things together out to 80. Haven't tried shooting beyond that.

    Boston Butt. Kurt's got it right. Get a thermometer. I use a gas smoker all the time. Use the wood chunks. First half hour to hour of smoking is the key.

    Agreed. And no mess. I used to use a Braun, still have it, it worked well but not as good as the above. If I could find a 'screen' or what ever it is that surrounds the blades, I'd still probably use it occasionally.
