    I always thought they probably hang out by themselves, as I've never had a double on drum. They will make you think you've got a nice walleye for a while.

    crappie in sak

    Any bridge that has the support/pilings into the lake can be good too. Can find them in 50 feet of water, suspended. Or anywhere in between. I fished Sak for a lot of years and never ever heard of a crappie being caught let alone seeing one. Down here it is getting fairly common.

    Very cool! Walleye fishing is too good right now. I do have some tree stands that I need to tend to. If I do I will be taking the bow with down to the river that I hunt along; there are always carp that serve as good targets this time of year. And an occasional beaver.

    I'll be hunting antelopes (that's for Slim, both the antelope, and the pleural) this year in SD. Numbers are starting to really come back. Seeing them in the traditional range again, just less numbers.

    Do a flour dip, then into egg and milk bath, then into your final breading. Guy hit the temp, that is about right, make sure you are at least 350. When they float, they are done. Hard to say what you are doing wrong but probably not hot enough. You want really good fried fish. Take a skillet...
