    Like normal for pre MEA in my area I saw 4 local to every 1 nonres. Ironically the best spots were in areas traditionally blown to hell but we're void of people today and the normal good areas were a fucking zoo devoid of birds so go figure.

    Northern lights were impressive last night!

    Nice pics. The first time i ever saw that high speed strobing it was a bit freaky realizing just how violently the sun actually rips on our atmosphere. Definitely cool to see the lights go on past you and to cover the whole sky instead of just being a green glow to the north.

    I say go for it because the more effort you put into getting this setup will undoubtedly lead to a proportional decrease in the amount of snow we actually get and I'm all for that! Give us a wet freeze up and a wet spring and skip that snow shit in the middle!

    Been watching since this thread was posted and have yet to see a single monarch. Like everyone else I've seen a bitch load of the little ones but no true monarchs. Be bad if ours died out since they are the ones that cary to population through the winter in Mexico.
