    Saw another decent flock that was also bunching up so there is hope the better hunting here soon.. Dove fields are starting to build up in good numbers so the game will start soon. Side note the grass was EXTREMELY wet and still saw all of 3 roosters!!!

    Yeah been on a mission to take out as many as I can out of the folks lake but for some reason I can't kill the mirrors. Probably has to do with how big those bastards can get....plus they look kind of cool.

    Was out the other morning looking for a good dove field. Very wet grass in very good country and saw two roosters and one hen with a few chicks but far far fewer then I should have seen with that much dew in the grass.

    And obviously pronghorn has always been traditionally a one tag per person per year...oh wait only since the mass die off. If deer tags ever hit 10,000 to 20,000 then you will likely see a one tag system but to do it just to stroke someone's ego would be stupid.

    They say you have to be above 80% to see much of any dip in the amount of light and even here at 84% it was pretty minimal. If no one had said it was coming I doubt many would have even noticed.
