Looks like they ditched it and it's no longer an option.

    Burgum's income tax proposal?

I'm getting tired of all of it. Taxes continue to rise, MDU, electric, gas, groceries, everything is on a continuous rise. I am tired of the "well, it's only pennies a day, you could skip going out to eat once a month....blah, blah, blah!" You can stop your frivolous spending and quit asking to...

    F-150/2.7 Ecoboost

I Bought my 5.0 in 2014 and was told by a mechanic, at that time, to stay away from the ecoboost. I don't know much about the small diesel engines, but I kind of hope they start putting one in the F-150's. I will probably be in the market for a new truck within the next 10 years so maybe it will...

    Portable fish houses

Like some have said, the flip overs are pretty heavy. After watching my brother-in-law struggle getting his in and out of the truck, I decided to go with a hub (Eskimo 3I). That is pretty light and easy to deal with. Then the whole family started ice fishing and we needed more room so we got the...

    Emily Eckroth

She seems very pleasant. On another note, I don't blame her for not stepping down when Kirsten Baesler did not step down either. The difference may be how they conducted themselves during the stop. If I can recall correctly, Kirsten did not act like such a fool.

    ND Record Burbot

Neat. I've only caught one in my lifetime and at that point I had no clue what the heck it was. It scared the crap out of me and I cut the line. A guy fishing close to me saw it and came over to educate me on what it was and how good they are to eat. If I ever catch another one, I will probably...

    How is ice fishing going?

I've been to a few different lakes all with slow bites but put some on the ice at every one. I've been to Foot Lake twice, Ruele once, and Williams once. Foot Lake was good since I hit it before all the snow. Ruele was a mess and ended up with about 2 inches of water and slush above the hole...

    New Boots

I bought these last year. Surprisingly, they are very comfortable and warm. So warm that I quite wearing wool socks with them. I don't know how long they will last, but I guess I will find out.

    Lake Access Post Storm

Hopefully there won't be much slush with sub-zero temps all week. I am on vacation next week and plan to hit some prairie pot holes.

    Electric Ice Auger Recommendations

I can also tell you to keep the drill power on 1. After a few beverages in the garage, I decided to see how fast the Milwaukee would spin the auger on 2 speed. The cover flew off and hit me in the ankle. It's been over a month and my ankle still isn't back to 100% Hard lesson learned

    Electric Ice Auger Recommendations

When I went to buy mine, ACME has a package deal for the augers/drills. I went in to order it and Milwaukee was running a promo. I got the drill, two batteries and the charger for $230. Plus an extra drill (drill only) for $1.00. I think the auger bit was also around $200. So I got two drills...

    Electric Ice Auger Recommendations

I did the same thing this year. I went with the Eskimo Pistol bit and the Milwaukee M18 fuel hammer drill. Very light weight and easy to store/pack in a sled. I drilled 11 holes in 10 inches of ice and still had three of the four battery power lights. So far I am loving it.

    Livescope Accessories

We bought one toward the end of the season last year. The one for sure upgrade is going to be a lithium battery. The current lead acid battery only lasts about 6 hours. I have also been looking into a different pole, but haven't decided which route I want to go yet. A lot of people are going to...

    More Snow Next Week?

I am also getting tired of it already. And like some have said, it is a form of moisture, and we do need plenty of that.
