    East end of Sakakawea

I ice fish around there, I never drive over there, usually park at the pump station n drag my sled down the corner where there's not many rocks. I haven't hit it this year, but driving by, the ice looks rough, like the wind busted n piled it all up before it refroze

    Question for any taxidermy experts

It's fine, I'd worry about a trout or crappie maybe, but not a bass. Walleyes, perch, pike, n bass all do fine if freezer burnt. Only trouble I had was on a really freezer burnt perch that lost some scales, but not sure if that was from freezer burn or if the fish got a bit funky before freezing.

1/10 the price of power pro, same product, maybe better.

I fish heavy. Heavy jigs, heavy line, heavy rod/reel, etc. But I fish the river alot, and don't wanna diddle daddle with a ten pound fish on the line....or a big carp, Pike, drum, trout, etc... I usually run 12-15lb main line with a 10-12lb fluro or mono leader, and use 3/8-1/2 oz jigs, on a...

    Places closing in Minot

Staples is closing because the property owner has different plans for the building and wouldn't renew the lease. That store does very well actually. My wife's the manager and has worked there for 20 years. It came as a shock to us, we just found out a week ago.

1/10 the price of power pro, same product, maybe better.

I love it so far, only issues is it holds water and freezes up in sub freezing temps, but so does power pro. Other issue is my braid to leader knots come loose or break on occasion. I use an Albright knot, should probly change to a different knot, double uni maybe. Been using a tiny barrel...

Jiffy 44 Pro 8 inch propane vs. K drill

That God damn skinzit is probly a better option for drilling ice holes than a jiffy propane. In fact, I think everything jiffy has gone to complete shit. It's as if the company whored everything out to the lowest bidder with the cheapest materials. Everything plastic breaks, the fuel lines...

    Riggen tip ups 4 walleye

I used to be a strict plain, colored hook with a big minnow hooked thru the back guy on my tip ups, but I've found a larger ice jig, like the flattened round ones with an eye on them with a big minnow hooked thru the back has produced much more walleyes for me. I think the big jig slows the...

    Skinzit

If you grill your Ribeyes on a Foreman, than you'd probably clean your walleyes with a skinzit.

    Skinzit

Meh, it'd collect dust at my house, I'm faster with a knife, and I assume it leaves most of the dark skin side meat on the fillet, so I'd just have to make that cut with a knife anyway.

    Weather and walleye

Just when I think a low front will shut them down, I have the best day ever, and the opposite with a stable pattern. I don't think they ever quit eating because of the weather, I think they just move, or feed differently. My philosophy is, if I can go fishing, I'm going fishing.
