Also... they get triploid rainbow released by accident and we get silver carp and big head carp released by accident. Lucky bums
I think propwash gets fish stirred up myself and I only really worry about it 6' or so maybe. If I find fish there, I often stop pulling cranks and start casting them
I was going to suggest checking the thermostat(s) as well, pretty easy to do. Impeller change is pretty straight forward and a shop manual is a nice thing to have.
Did that on a fall trip years ago, we decided to sleep sans tent. Woke up about 2 am with a bear about 5 feet away. Haha, that will get you out of a deep sleep pdq!
Been fishing the last 3 days, fish fry tonight, packer brisket going on the smoker this evening... beers and cocktails tomorrow with friends, family and bbq.
That is a fun project but I cannot imagine that just picking up a bag at Menards, etc... while you are there is more expensive than doing it yourself? In other words, what Ahab said above. I'll admit it would be fun to do once or twice.
At least tuning cranks gives you something extra to do over pulling bottom bouncers

Also.... both the Bismarck and Dickinson Runnings have all their Reef Runners at 5.99 per, no matter model or size.
