    Find an old guy to hunt with. Your strong back will earn you the help of someone that has BTDT. Its allot cheaper buying the right stuff once. Anchorage is a shithole, drugs, gangs, bums, hookers.... Its not a great place to live IMHO You will see soon enough.

    Shore fishing Devils Lake

    Split shot about 12" above a leech. Bridges are great spots, try to cast out to where the rip rap ends and the lake bottom starts. Only trick is to reel fast when bringing in your line or it will get snagged. Split shot size is heavy enough to cast to edge of rip rap. Seen this set up work...
