    Told my wife it was a sampan, she didn't have a clue... 18mph with only my fragile frame aboard. Gonna shim the cavitation plate but don't expect much more speed just easier handling. Fun, can't even put it to words. I was grinning like a retard with a cookie....

    Put this 1442 Alumacraft together over the winter and finally did a test run... Was extremely happy with Shallow water performance. Boat is way smaller than I'm used to but I will get better with it. The motor is a Harbor freight 420 predator and drive is a Backwater swamp light glider.
