    I'm far from an expert, but I've tried them all and i use powerpro now. 20# trolling devils. I use relatively light rods also. Think that helps with hook set.

    I think they recommend a circuit breaker instead of a fuse. 60Amps. For cables, I bought some jumper cables and cut the ends off and bought some connectors that are used for forklift batteries.     I have had a Terrova 80 with Autopilot for the last 2 years. I have buyers' remorse over not getting the link feature. As others said the spot lock isn't great, but I like everything else about the motor and have had no problems with it. FWIW I would go 24 volt and get the 72" shaft.

    They wouldn't have gotten away with it. One kid had a broken ankle. He said he was trying to shoot out a car tire. Too many movies and zero respect for the weapon he was holding.

    I stand by what I said. The other thing is the coaches, especially in the lower grades, are the ones that created the so called 'culture of mediocrity" there. Then this guy blames the kids. Look in the mirror coach. I'm guessing a lot of kids don't even go out for sports because of attitudes...
