    Embarrased to say I have a 2002 75 merc that went until 2014. It still looked good when I changed it, my problem was a thermostat/poppit valve. Going forward I plan on changing every 3-4 seasons, depending on use. Fairly easy to do.

    Fishing Alone?

    Sometimes I like just to be out there alone, do not mind launch and recovery solo. Most times though I enjoy some company and the extra rods it affords while trolling straight through packs of lindy riggers, just to wake 'em up. Haha

    Since it is close to the historic Missouri River, maybe the can have the sign with a canoe and a couple of flannel clad LGBT whatevers in it and call it "Fur Traderz" No cover fee for those wearing white frame sunglasses. Friday is flannel shirt and CAT or Peterbuilt hat night.

    Fussing Babies

    All 3 of ours were sleeping through the night within a few days of getting home from the hospital. Had a few nights here and there that were not all nighters. Seemed like keeping them on a schedule with feeding times helped and we did not hesitate to try a 2nd bottle to make sure they were full.

    If you can read a dive curve and a fish finder, yer good. Just remember the massive drum there are superb planer board sinkers, and the odd 30" channel cat as well.

    2 nights a week, for 4 weeks

    Good times! My wife just passed hers and the 2 oldest will waterfowl with us and take the class when old enough to put in for deer. Told the girls if they like duck that much they needed to help procure the main ingredient. At this point, my kids like venison and duck better than beef.
