    Have'nt hunted water in years,but way back we would have'em come in low and slow to the spread,or pass shoot them flying low between sloughs.Guyz pulling dekes early and heading out across the lake through rafts of ducks/coot always stirred them up flying in every direction.

    I fished a few tournies on cass,the lake is loaded with perch and they peck the hell out of live bait (crawlers/leeches) as stated above cranks can produce but we did the best using longer snells and redtail chubs.Beware of the slots.Lots of structure on the lake as well.

    Fish Shelf Life

    I almost always soak my walleye in 7up@ home over night or a day or two tops,firms the meat up nicely,shore lunch they go from the knife to the fry pan,thats seems to be the best,just not the same once the fillets are frozen.
