    My understanding is the hail suppression is also in conjunction with added rainfall since the moisture can attach to the silver iodide causing it to fall rather than getting held up where it can freeze. Something like that. Silver iodide has a unique shape making it correct for the application...

    I can certainly get on board with the fact that we don't know if it works or not. I could care less if the program goes away, it's the idea that it's causing a drought all of a sudden that is ridiculous.

    The tinfoil hat wearing crowd is going wild on the ol' facebook about the write up now. Screaming things like "UC Berkely says!" and "The EPA!!!" The data tells us that average is the real abnormal thing in the west and one way or the other most years give people something to lose their minds over.

    Exactly. However I get a staged event feeling on this one, I'm not so sure I know anyone that would just toss any fish on the sidewalk/bridge/heater and just leave it there especially in public. Feels like their way of making the fishermen look bad for a staged video.

    Born and raised in Watford City. Unofficial record holder for most fish caught out of cherry creek in a single childhood. I'm not sure about that last part but the odds are pretty good. Still hard to convice a person there are piles of fish swimming in that thing.
