    I planted a five foot Evan Bali cherry tree in 2012. It produced well last year. The birds got most of them so I'm prepared this year with netting. I’m pretty sure this is a zone two variety so it should do well.

    Looks like my set up. I start the seeds in small plastic tubs. After they have developed true leaves I gently move them into individual pods. If they are kinda spindly I just bury them deeper. Works real well with tomatoes.

    Now is a good time to start your tomato and peppers. They will be ready to go by late May or early June. It's not about how big the plants are it's all about soil temps.

    Running the motor for a few seconds is ok. Running your boat in the Missouri is what wears those pumps out. Sand is evil.
