    The Scheels 8'10" trolling rods work well, just don't get the Okuma POS reels that Scheels puts on them. Go with Daiwa Accudepths, or SeaLine reels. The size 27 reels seem to be a good match.

    Since rural developments constitute a goodly share of the complaints about too many deer, I would respectfully disagree. Don't worry, they segregated landowners into different categories based on the amount of land they own.

    Yes, it is a very deceptive contraption, I say that because I had the same concerns early on. It's almost like magic when it comes right down to it. Note: It's not cheap. I think, it was $700 for my Toon around 5 years ago.
