    Crow vs Raven

@guywhofishess What about a Monday morning, armchair orthinologist? Y'all think he would be able to tell the difference? Are crows good eating? Thinking blackbird pie . . . wasn't there a song about that -- 4 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie? Plus the saying you are going to be eating...

    Water Heaters: Tankless vs Traditional

You looked at the increase in electrical cost. Perhaps harder to determine, but bet you could do a ballpark estimate -- what is the cost savings in reduced water consumption. Assuming you are on city water. ?

    Wile E Coyote

Several years ago, I slipped on the ice too. Major slip. My feet/legs went up flying and landed on my forehead. Knocked unconscious and had a major league black eye. Not good. Meaning the unconscious part. Came too and crawled into the house still half in a daze. Seeing stars. Guessing the...

    Water Heaters: Tankless vs Traditional

I know a recirc pump is costly, but one time cost. Add to loop, turn on prior to wanting hot water at faucet. It shuts off with thermostat (another cost). Then have hot water at the faucet. For us it would be in the kitchen. We easily know beforehand when we will want hot water there. We...

So, If gas hits 5 a gal this summer...

IMO they can't let interest rates go much higher than they are at. Imagine the number of businesses/govt that would default if they did. All that easy money out there. Economists/government sure have us backed into a hole on this.

So, If gas hits 5 a gal this summer...

Congratulations. "Rich" is often in the eye of the beholder. I hope others have figured out how to invest profitably in light of these current economic conditions. I "lucked" out and have made more money investing in oil in the last couple of months than I will ever spend on gas for the rest...

    Spring snows 22

I have tried voice calling the HRonk of a canada goose. Surprised how well it works. Try it. I have spun birds around that are flying low over our house looking for the goose on the ground. Perhaps the non-plasticy (sp?) sound. ?

So, If gas hits 5 a gal this summer...

Don't they realize that pumping all that newly printed money into the system is one of the key reasons for the inflation. (Not talking the effect of war). And "we" keep kicking the can down the road. IMO a bunch of bozos. : )

The official I Did That scavenger hunt

the sticker is visual, the bitching verbal many people may see the sticker every time that we go to the pump they won't hear me bitch after I leave the pump the intent is to incite a change we buy gas more often than we will ever buy stickers

    Repeat Thread--Handgun Stopping Power

X2 I am of the same mindset. More than likely it would be close range and I know (hope?) I can do a lot of damage with my shotgun if I need to. Perhaps it has to do with being comfortable with your weapon. That being said my BIL was a career cop. Said "they" were lucky too if they could hit...

    Consumption

Power is power. It takes amps to power an electrical device. The amp draw at the voltage required is power. Easy conversion to wattage. He gave the power in watts.. Carry on. Don't think I missed anything as he didn't give any thing in lumens. ? I googled and they gave a conversion...
