    The deer tag system is fine way it is . Hopefully herd keeps building numbers . IMO , there shouldn't be a pronghorn season this year . Why cut the numbers way they did , just close it , let them recover again for few years

    Yes they were down no doubt , but in lots of the state it was record yields for many crops - - - Updated - - - I'm not a farmer but have land and am very Pro farmer ... it's not that bad , but they have a lot on the line every year and one bad year can really screw things up

    If I were not a bow hunter , I would apply for tags in high % units like whitetail units out west and get a tag every year , years I didn't draw a buck I would buy a leftover doe and hunt it with my muzzleloader . There's options .

    agreed, I also love to muzzy hunt so since 2012 or so ive been putting in for muzzy doe , ive got 3 out of 5 years .

    They don't all go 1st choice tho , guys drew these tags as second choice . And that's pretty good luck .

    It's only gonna get worse , now they are selling mule doe tags again so a bad winter and that herd will be down , if you want a tag every year better buy a bow
