    IMO, I won the "Life-Lottery" when I was born a citizen of the USA, everything after that is gravy. Wife, kids, family, extended family, faith, friends, work and probably several dozen other things I'm forgetting to mention have all been far better than I deserve.

    It's actually pretty easy/common for part of a glove/mitten to partial cover the laser lens and the laser lens needs to be cleaned occasionally. If that's not your problem, have the unit in front of you and give Leica customer service a jingle. FWIW, I bought one of their 800yd golf units...

    I stand firm in my thinking that folks who are "recoil averse/sensitive" are more concerned with the noise than the actual shove on their shoulder.     In my simple brain I see the flattened projectile on the right "knife-edging" through flesh/organs/bone with little/no spin. You get a hole, but, you don't get that "Vortex" creating a large and very traumatic secondary wound-channel. So, again, spitballing here: Bullet hits a cattail or two...
