    Steel for pike on tip ups I just tie directly to the black braid and never had a problem.

    Try leaving it a little looser or try the little rubber stops that they have. I run mono on my bobber rods so I don't have that problem much.

    I run a small swivel between the 2. Not a fan of braid to mono knots. I like about a 2 foot leader and the swivel almost never makes it to the rod.

    Sunflower heater works fine. I recommend one that mounts on the tank tho. It don't melt the ice and make it slippery.

    I have a clam insulated and when it dies I will be replacing with an Eskimo. It's not a very warm house leaks air if there is a wind.

    I shoot the scheels arrows. Never had a problem and they shoot good. Its also nice when u lose one u don't spend 30 min looking for one cause they are cheap.

    Running boards - I hate them

    I don't have them on my 1500 Chevy but my 2500 dodge has them. I'm 6 2 and use them all the time in that. They do save the paint on the bottoms of the doors.

    I usually just put new blades on every 2 years. My auger wouldn't cut very good yesterday but u had ice build up at the tip of it.
