    Spinning reel

Got my Symetre back in working order for now. Using 6# Suffix braid, it was getting hung up before line roller cutting a groove in the plastic making it hard to reel. Buffed it out with Dremel and good to go. May pick up a President just for a backup. Gotta say I have never "completely"...

    Spinning reel

I do have one of these. Very nice, was wondering if anything else I was missing. Replacing a Shimano Symetre 2500. Thing started reeling very hard. Have taken apart a half dozen times , cleaned and re-lubed. Works smooth for about 3-4 casts and then does the same thing again.

Word of caution, use heavier wire than what is in the kits. Neighbors didn't make it 2 yrs. between frost and driving over. The driving over may not apply to your particular installation.

    Zero Turn Recommendation

Was in the same boat a few years ago. I decided instead of zero turn to go the JD X 380 54" rider route. Reason being was for the fact I have a lot of area for snowblowing. The 44" blower attachment is a beast when comes to moving snow. Just food for thought...

    Chest waders

Anyone have any experience with the Redingtons ? Got some pretty good reviews. They aren't gortex though and I am a believer in that. The $6-700 clams is getting the eyebrow raise from the Mrs. for some Simms. I know I have spent that in about the last 8 yrs on neoprene though.
