    what do you use for bite indecator on windy days???

    when fishing from shore we used to put the big (3"?) bobbers between the last 2 eyes on the rod with the steel u 180* from the hole it is designed to go into for setting depth... on windy days, would let out enough line to bring the bobber right to the ground in the slack line with the rod...

    i've had westin hdx's on my last 2 rams and really like them... they are spendy, but seem bout the strongest other than customs... chrome stayed really good on my last one over 2 years, and the current one the first year... fwiw, i've smoked a big rooster and a grouse with the current one...

    What's in your garden?

    garden planted today... peas, beans, potatoes, squash, cukes, zukes, tomatoes, and carrots... still have tons of corn from last year, and only 2 tomato plants cuz still have bout 120 quarts of salsa left from last year... couple notes... i built tomato cages 3 years ago out of 3/4" square...
